For almost 50 years, we have brought together professionals for networking, education, communication and collaboration. We invite you to refer colleagues and other industry professionals to join DFI, so we may continue providing community support and industry advancements for years to come.

How it Works

  • Recommend joining DFI to a company or Individual.

  • Have them indicate you as the referring member when they complete their online application.

  • Both you and the referred member will receive discounts to the DFI Merch Store.

The Fine Print

  • DFI will keep track of the referrals and send you – and your friend – a discount to the DFI Merch Store.

  • New Corporate Members and Referrers will receive a $100 discount. New Individual Members and Referrers will receive a $50 discount.
  • The referred member must complete their application and pay their dues in full in order for the discounts to be provided. Students applying for free membership and the person recommending them are not eligible for the discounts.

Tips for Advocating

  • Share your personal involvement with DFI and how it has benefitted you and/or your company.

  • Advise them that individual membership provides:

    • access to all DFI Journal papers since 2007 at www.dfi-journal.org, over 145K documents at OneMine.org, and many DFI documents for free through our publication store
    • eligibility to serve on a DFI committee
    • discounted member pricing on publications and conferences
  • Advise them of the additional benefits corporate membership provides:
    • A listing in the online Corporate Member Directory
    • Exclusive opportunity to exhibit and sponsor DFI conferences, on DFI’s website and its podcasts
    • Access to student resumes
    • Free ¼ page ad in Deep Foundations
